We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at New Heights Bentonville a great one.
To make disciples who love God passionately and love people tangibly
Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters. Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls…Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind…So then each of us will give an account of himself to God…So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God.(Romans 14:1, 4, 5, 12, 22)
"Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit- just as you were called - one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all." (Ephesians 4:2-6) We affirm the high value of this Scripture and seek to practice it at New Heights Church.
"A new command I give you. Love one another as I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. (John 12:34-35) "If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge and if I have a faith that can move mountains but have not love, I am nothing." (1 Corinthians 13:2) "The whole point of what we're urging is simply love - love uncontaminated by self-interest and counterfeit faith, a life open to God." (1 Timothy 1:5)
In 2012, the elders and staff of New Heights Church in Fayetteville began to sense God's call to plant churches. A core group of families from Bentonville, AR had been making the drive to Fayetteville each Sunday, and they quickly became excited about the possibility of planting a church in Bentonville. After a year of concerted prayer, planning, and behind-the-scenes work, New Heights Bentonville was born.
New Heights Bentonville officially launched on March 10th, 2013, with services every other Sunday at Old High Middle School in downtown Bentonville. In May of that year we began having services every Sunday.
